Client: Life-Centered Design School

Giving a regenerative design school the language and visual systems to match its mission.

The Life Centered Design School was building something genuinely new: a curriculum and community for designers who wanted to practice in ways that were regenerative, equitable, and life-centered. The challenge was translating that depth of intention into a shared vocabulary — visual, written, and strategic — that could hold up across a growing global audience.

I worked with the LCD School team across multiple touch-points: facilitated strategy sessions to define and align on their core values, developed a Sustainable Glossary introducing new-to-the-world terminology for life-centered practice, designed visual assets for social media and events, and co-created the frameworks that orient prospective and current students toward the school's goals.

This was as much a strategic engagement as a design one — the visual system emerged from the values work, not the other way around.

The LCD School now has a coherent visual and strategic identity that can grow with the organization — consistent enough to build recognition, flexible enough to hold new programs and partnerships. The Sustainable Glossary became a public-facing resource that positions the school as a thought leader in regenerative design education.

Launching or growing a learning organization that's trying to say something new?
