Service: Brand Strategy & Visual Identity System

Client: Carlos Teixeira PhD.

Building a visual language worthy of ideas that transform design systems.

Carlos Teixeira is a leading systems designer and educator whose work on social transformation had earned international recognition — including a Fast Company World Changing Ideas Award in 2022. What he needed was a visual identity system that could hold the complexity and ambition of that work: rigorous, accessible, and built to communicate across academic and public audiences alike.

Working in close collaboration with Carlos and the Murmur Ring team, I developed six distinct visual language directions — each translating a different dimension of his work into graphic form. Research into visual legibility, hierarchy, and motion informed which direction would carry the most meaning across contexts.

The final system included brand guidelines, a full library of visual assets, social media templates, a landing page, and website design.

Carlos's work — which had previously lived primarily in academic spaces — now has a visual identity strong enough to speak to broader audiences: institutions, funders, collaborators, and communities.

The system provides a consistent, compelling presence across all the contexts where systems-change work needs to be seen and believed.

“Catherine Bianca at Process Process Process,
is an incredibly intelligent designer with a keen ability to understand and explore complex, multidisciplinary topics. Her results are beautiful and well thought out. I would highly recommend her for developing visual languages for complicated projects, bodies of work, and brands.”
