Turning SDG impact data into reports that stakeholders actually want to read and act on it.
Ecotone Analytics produces rigorous social impact analysis for mission-driven organizations — measuring outcomes against Sustainable Development Goals and Impact Management Project frameworks. Their work was methodologically excellent.
The challenge: making that rigor legible and compelling to the stakeholders, funders, and community partners who needed to act on it.
Working across a cross-disciplinary team of designers, economists, and data analysts, I designed the full visual output of Ecotone's client reports — including the South Side Family Nurturing Center Impact Overview.
This included information architecture (structuring complex data for clarity), data visualization (translating metrics into readable graphics), iconography, and a print-ready layout system that could be adapted across multiple client reports.
Impact reports that had previously been data-dense documents became compelling narratives — accessible to community members, credible to funders, and actionable for organizational leadership. The design system gave Ecotone Analytics’ clients a way to share their impact story with confidence, certainty and clarity.
